Job Description
Education:

• Bachelor of Science (food science, biology, chemistry or related field)



Required Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years of regulatory experience

• CPG experience in related industry (i.e., pharma, cosmetics, supplements, home products [cleaners, disinfectants, polishes, etc.)

• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Analytical thinking



Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Food regulatory experience desired



Position Overview:

R&D Delivers value and growth by driving product quality, assuring consumer safety and promoting efficiency based on robust science while developing consumer-relevant products, process and packaging



Responsibilities:

• Assure the regulatory compliance of products (on-pack and off-pack approval of nutrition information; ingredient declarations and claims; use of approved ingredients), product registration, and packaging compliance

• Monitor and influence food regulations that impact Client products

• Establish a scientific network to achieve regulatory compliance

• Manage scientific research program to achieve health & nutrition and sustainability

• Horizon scanning of science and regulations related to health & nutrition, food safety, and sustainability

• Develop internal scientific and regulatory governance, standards and policies that drive compliance and support the innovation and business goals of the Company
