Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.



Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience

• 1–3 years Regulatory Affairs experience in:

• Laundry, detergents, home care, or CPG products

• Knowledge of federal and state pesticide regulations (required)

• Working knowledge of:

• FIFRA

• TSCA

• California Prop 65

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple regulatory projects and deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams



Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience

• SAP experience

• Experience supporting:

• Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

• Ingredient disclosure systems

• Third-party compliance databases

• Exposure to Canadian regulations and submissions



Regulatory Affairs Specialist Overview

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist is responsible for ensuring that laundry, detergent, and home care consumer products comply with all applicable U.S. and Canadian regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle. This role supports new product development and existing product maintenance by reviewing formulations, raw materials, packaging, labeling, and documentation to confirm compliance with federal, state, and provincial regulations.



Job Duties

• Review and approve product labels and artwork to ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian regulations

• Support SDS development and ingredient disclosure requirements

• Enter and maintain regulatory data in third-party compliance systems

• Assist with regulatory documentation and audits

• Partner with R&D, Packaging, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance

• Conduct regulatory evaluations of raw materials, formulations, packaging, and labeling

• Ensure compliance with regulations including but not limited to:

• TSCA (US)

• FIFRA (US)

• Prop 65 (CA)

• VOC regulations

• Consumer Product Safety Act

• Federal Hazardous Substances Act

• Poison Prevention Packaging Act

• Fair Packaging and Labeling Act

• EPA Safer Choice

• Canadian chemical and consumer product regulations

• Document regulatory programs and compliance processes

• Support workload planning and coordination with other regulatory staff
