Job Description
Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of healthcare experience

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Experience using Micro Suites

• EPIC experience preferred

• Ability to work weekends as required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities



Overview:

• Onsite position in Atlanta, GA

• Seasonal Influenza Vaccination or Declination required from Nov 1 to Apr 30

• Parking available in non-reserved spaces; vehicle registration required with Nora Sciolino

• Business casual dress code

• Schedule: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating weekends

• Schedule subject to change based on business needs



Job Summary:

• Responsible for handling inbound phone inquiries, initiating referrals and authorizations, and researching authorization requests while providing excellent customer service and maintaining productivity standards.



Job Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound phone queue and respond to member and provider inquiries

• Initiate referrals and authorization requests accurately and efficiently

• Research and review authorization requests to ensure appropriate processing

• Utilize Micro Suites and other internal systems to document and track work

• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism

• Meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations

• Work rotating weekends and flexible schedules based on business needs
