Job Description
Required Education & Experience
• Education: A college/university degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5-7 years of recruiting/human resources job-related experience. Internship experience counts toward this total.
• Specific Experience: At least 2 years of experience in high-volume recruiting.
Required Skills
• Candidate Sourcing: Proven skill with techniques and channels (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn) to attract and qualify candidates.
• Staffing & Recruiting: Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting processes and standards.
• Workforce Analytics: Ability to analyze recruitment data and metrics to support business decisions.
• Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and web-based applications.
Preferred Skills
• Application Experience: Prior experience with the Workday recruiting module is highly desired.
• Industry Experience: Previous recruiting experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Language: Knowledge of at least one additional local language (for span of support).
• Process Skills: Demonstrated ability to complete tasks on time per defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and introduce process improvements.
Job Responsibilities
• Act as the primary recruiting contact for hiring managers and business leadership to understand staffing needs and required skills.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for high-volume manufacturing roles: create/post requisitions, source candidates, conduct phone screens, and extend offers.
• Implement effective sourcing strategies and manage candidate pipelines using job boards, job fairs, and digital ads.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience and compliance with all recruitment policies and processes.
• Track candidate progress, minimize time-to-hire, and maintain accurate data in the applicant tracking system (Taleo/Workday).
• Collaborate with onsite HR, facility managers, a virtual recruiting team, and shared service partners.
• Provide recruiting status updates and performance metrics to leadership.
Required Soft Skills:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
o Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills to engage all organizational levels.
o Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task effectively.
o Ability to influence and coordinate without direct authority.
Disqualifiers / Red Flags
• Job Hoppers: A history of multiple short-tenure roles without legitimate reasons for leaving.
• CAT Status: Any candidate who is not eligible for rehire at Caterpillar.
• Irrelevant Background: Candidates with only cloud-based or technical recruiting experience and no proven background in high-volume recruiting. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
