Job Description
Required Education:

• High School Diploma



Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of recruitment or HR experience, including volume hiring.

• Proficiency with Workday (Applicant Tracking System).

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Strong relationship management, communication, and client service skills.

• Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and data.



Preferred/Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Beamery (CRM) and job platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed.

• Understanding of employer branding and talent acquisition KPIs.

• A college degree is preferred but not required (HS diploma accepted).



Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main recruiting partner for hiring managers, understanding staffing needs and developing sourcing strategies.

• Manage the entire candidate pipeline: create requisitions, source candidates, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and process offers/onboarding.

• Ensure data accuracy in Workday (ATS) and maintain compliance with recruitment policies.

• Track key metrics (e.g., time-to-hire) and provide regular updates to recruiting leadership.

• Provide backup support for other team members as needed.



Disqualifiers/Red Flags:

• Internship experience alone does not count toward the 2+ years of required job experience.



Team & Work Environment

• Team Structure: Reports to a Talent Acquisition Manager; peers include 5 tenured LPSD recruiters.

• Work Style: Full-time on-site in a cubicle/office environment. Standard schedule is 8 AM – 4 PM or 7 AM – 3 PM.

• Interaction: Daily interaction with the team for training and support; high interaction with hiring managers and candidates.
