Required Education & Experience
• Degree Requirement: High School Graduate or GED
• Years of Experience: 1–3 years of recruitment/human resources job-related experience
• Internship Policy: Internships are accepted as job experience

• MS Office Suite
• MS Bookings (Scheduling Tool)
• Workday
Technical Skills (Desired):

• Volume hiring experience
Soft Skills (Required):
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Phone etiquette; polite; sets a good tone for Caterpillar
• Ability to talk to a variety of levels (upper management to rank and file)
• Relationship Management – ability to manage multiple internal customers

• Analytical Skills – ability to interpret recruiting metrics

• Fluency in English (required)
• Knowledge of at least one additional local language (preferred)
Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate staffing processes for assigned scope (business unit/country/location/function)
• Partner with hiring manager(s) to understand staffing needs, review/create requisitions, and discuss sourcing strategy
• Act as primary recruiting contact for hiring manager and BU/Location leadership
• Manage the candidate pipeline by implementing effective sourcing strategies
• Program manage recruitment campaigns as required
• Ensure quality of prospective candidates presented to hiring managers
• Conduct initial phone screening
• Schedule interviews for the TA team via MS Bookings
• Maintain pace of 5–10 interviews per day
• Support high volume production hiring (approx. 20–30 hires every 2 weeks)
• Maintain and ensure compliance with local recruitment policies and processes
• Track candidate process and minimize time to hire (Resume to Offer)
• Understand and use Taleo; ensure up-to-date data management of recruitment applications by Hiring Managers
• Gather and review overnight drug screen and physical results
• Develop and maintain effective relations with centralized Shared Service Team and recruitment channel partners (agencies)
• Ensure client satisfaction for recruitment efforts within span of support
• Ensure positive candidate experience is at the forefront of all recruitment activity
• Provide recruiting status updates to Regional and Global Recruiting Leadership (performance vs targets, sourcing challenges/issues)
• Collaborate with other regions to share knowledge and lessons-learned
• Provide back-up recruiting services for other regions as needed
• Start day with review of voicemails, emails, and correspondence
• Day filled with calling applicants and scheduling interviews
• Work collaboratively side-by-side in a pod of 4 desks
• Work environment includes office and manufacturing floor
