Job Description
Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent



Required Qualifications:

• Computer literate with the ability to enter and update patient registration information accurately

• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to greet and assist patients professionally

• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly



Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English

• Experience with EPIC EMR

• Medical receptionist (MR) or front-desk healthcare experience

• Experience working with demographics, insurance information, patient registration, and appointment scheduling



Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and professionally and complete patient arrival/check-in procedures for scheduled visits

• Enter and update patient registration information, including demographics, insurance, and other required data

• Conduct reminder calls to patients regarding upcoming appointments and required visit information

• Scan, upload, and maintain patient documents and records in the appropriate systems

• Perform various clerical and administrative duties to support daily clinic operations

• Coordinate with Medical Assistants, Clinicians, and Nurses to support an efficient patient flow

• Verify and maintain accurate patient information while following established healthcare privacy and documentation procedures

• Provide friendly, professional customer service to patients throughout the check-in process
