Job Description
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Required Qualifications:
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to Investigate supplier and operational quality issues and ensure the issues to be well defined and communicated to the cross-functional team.
• Assess the impact of the issues and work with cross-functional teams to liaison a path forward to disposition in order to mitigate production line downtime risk.
• Manage the coordination and disposition of the nonconformance through Process Change Notifications or Deviations.
• Help root cause analysis and provide fact & data-based information to concerned parties for problem solving.
• Manage deviation and process change requests. Support NPI projects.
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
This position will greatly help manage and disposition Process Change Notifications and Deviations. It is a critical role and the catalyst to gathering cross-functional teams together to resolve issues. It is a time-sensitive role to mitigate the production downtime risk due to quality issues. It will greatly improve the morale of the team via reducing the overload of work from others in this role.

Required Technical Skills:
• Data collection analysis
• Problem solving and critical thinking
• Blueprint reading
• Gages and measurements
• MS Office Software (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of internal combustion engines
Responsibilities:
• Review rejects from both incoming quality inspection and production floor.
• Investigate critical quality issues, create problem statements and communicate to the cross-functional team.
• Manage and coordinate the containment activities (sorting/rework) to minimize the impact on production operations due to quality issues.
• Support problem solving and continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate the disposition of Process Change Notifications and Deviations.
• Work closely with supplier/production/engineering/supplier development/logistics teams as well as 3rd party service companies - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
