Job Description
Required Education:

Years of Experience
• (Bachelor’s): 5+ years
• (Master’s): 3+ years plus internships
• Internships Are Accepted as Experience

• Problem solving & root cause analysis

Job Responsibilities:
o Lead/support investigations into quality issues (scrap/rework/customer complaints)
o Develop and implement corrective and preventative actions
o Use quality tools like 8D, fishbone, and FMEA
o Use data and risk analysis to direct actions
o Collaborate with small business team (manufacturing engineers, operations) to improve process capability and reduce variation
o Analyze quality data (e.g., defect rates, process capability, SPC charts)
o Prepare reports for management and cross-functional teams
o Track KPIs such as First Pass Yield, internal and external PPM
o Train operators on quality standards and inspection techniques
o Support cross-functional teams with quality-related expertise

Daily Interaction & Team Structure:
• Attend regularly scheduled meetings
• Daily interaction with operators, team lead, and section manager
• Meet with cross-functional teams to address issues as they arise
• Close collaboration with Small Business Team (SBT) – a cross-functional team responsible for maintaining operations of a cost center

Work Environment:
• Union factory environment
• PPE required: ear protection, eye protection, safety toe shoes
• Office environment at desk/cubicle for conference calls and meetings
