Job Description
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).


Requirements:
• Minimum of 1+ year of relevant experience (manufacturing, engineering, or internship experience acceptable).
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both production teams and leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects using problem-resolution methodologies.
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment with shared accountability.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including metatarsal safety boots.


Preferred Requirements:
• Engineering degree in any discipline.
• Prior experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with enterprise quality and delivery processes.


Job Duties:
• Support quality planning, control, and improvement initiatives across manufacturing and product development.
• Analyze manufacturing and materials processes to ensure cost, quality, and performance targets are achieved.
• Contribute to the design, testing, and validation of engineering and quality solutions.
• Conduct inspections and audits to evaluate engineering work and system integrity.
• Coordinate activities with suppliers and subcontractors in alignment with contract plans.
• Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions through established change management programs.
• Support development and maintenance of engineering standards and specifications.
• Respond to process and part quality issues through containment, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Drive long-term corrective actions and mistake-proofing solutions.
• Maintain and update quality documentation and reporting systems.
• Support knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work within project management plans to meet operational and quality goals.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with operators, engineers, and management.
• Participate in professional development, training, and accreditation activities.


Job Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer II to support manufacturing and fabrication operations by ensuring product quality meets customer and company standards. This role provides quality planning, control, and improvement support across product development, manufacturing engineering, supply management, and supplier operations.
The Quality Engineer II will apply quality tools and methodologies within established enterprise processes to drive continuous improvement, resolve quality issues, and support robust product delivery.
