Job Description
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Required Qualifications:
• Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor.
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Team player and detail oriented.
• Basic leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Previous experience with computer applications and software related to the engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
Required Technical Skills:
• Problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of automotive PPAP.
• AIAG Core Tools knowledge.
• IATF knowledge.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA.
• Knowledge of Minitab software.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities:
• Research and test the design, functionality, and maintenance of products, equipment, systems, and processes and develop quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and evaluate product integrity and standards.
• Devise sampling procedures and design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Establish programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
• Write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
