We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Inspector to join our fast-paced distribution center team in Portsmouth, VA. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our Quality Management System by ensuring procedural compliance, conducting daily inventory and picking verifications, and driving real-time error correction. If you have a sharp eye for detail and excel at bridging logistics operations with strict quality standards, we want to hear from you.



Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control audits and spot-check inspections to ensure full adherence to operational procedures and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

• Conduct daily verification of picking activities and promptly remove damaged product from pickable locations.

• Analyze service issue trends, track metrics, and report daily findings during morning tier meetings.

• Provide immediate, real-time feedback and error-correction strategies to stop issues before they escalate.

• Participate actively in internal audits, document control programs, and record/sample retention processes.



Compliance & Communication: Strong understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP), excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to present information effectively to small groups.



Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods within a distribution center environment.
