Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- A four-year college degree is desired
Other Job-Specific Skills:
- Three years’ experience underwriting real estate loans required
- Prior working experience with Freddie Mac
- Working knowledge of State and Federal lending regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Key Accountabilities:
% of time: 60%
- Conducts Pre & Post Closing Audit functions in accordance with Freddie Mac requirements.
% of time: 20%
- Performs other QC/audit functions as assigned and ensures that all audit responses are complete, accurate, and provided timely.
% of time: 10%
- Assists in identifying operational risks and escalating issues to management.
% of time: 10%
- Works in conjunction with Real Estate Manager in answering all investor, auditor and regulator questions.
Job Summary
Works with Real Estate Manager to provide QC support for the real estate department. Responsible for the oversight of operational audits, audit research, compliance monitoring and testing along with all Pre/Post Closing audits in accordance with Freddie Mac requirements &/or other secondary market requirements. The individual will be responsible for the timely submission of departmental audit and investor reporting on an ongoing basis.
