Job Description
Required Education:

• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent.



Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous experience in calibration and repair of test and measurement equipment.

• Knowledge and experience with ISO 17025 Quality Management Systems.

• Knowledge and experience calculating Measurement Uncertainty.

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and follow written procedures.

• Ability to follow written calibration and/or repair procedures.

• Knowledge of AC/DC circuitry.

• Knowledgeable with Excel

• Ability to lift and move 33 lbs. unassisted.



Preferred Experience/Skills/Qualification:

• Commercial or Military PMEL or TMDE experience preferred.

• Mechanical or electrical experience preferred.



Calibration Technician will calibrate and repair a variety of test and measurement equipment. The Calibration Technician will work with other technicians on the team or work on projects by themselves. Candidates should be self-starters, willing to learn, have attention to detail, and possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and computer skills are a must.



Responsibilities:

• Calibration and repair of electronic and mechanical measuring and test equipment

• AC/DC Low Voltage (multimeters, power meters, voltage calibrators etc.)

• RF/MW Frequency Measuring and Generating Devices (spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, RF counters)

• Temperature & Humidity devices (Thermometers, data loggers, environmental chambers, ovens)

• Generating T&M equipment (Insulation and Dielectric testers, controllers)

• Mechanical T&M equipment: (Torque Wrenches, Calipers, scales, pressure gages and controllers)

• Follow calibration procedures and methods.
