Overview
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing visual and microscope-based inspections of microelectronic and medical device components in a cleanroom environment. This role ensures products meet strict quality and regulatory standards by identifying defects, documenting inspection results, and following established procedures. The ideal candidate has experience using microscopes, excellent attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to perform repetitive inspection tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities
• Perform visual and microscope-based inspection of microelectronic and medical device components to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Inspect products for defects, inconsistencies, and non-conformances while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Work in a cleanroom environment while adhering to all safety, quality, and contamination control procedures
• Follow standardized inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation requirements
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain electronic and written quality records
• Utilize microscopes and other inspection equipment to evaluate small, precision components
• Identify, report, and escalate quality issues or defects to the appropriate personnel
• Perform repetitive inspection tasks while maintaining productivity and quality expectations throughout the shift
• Operate basic computer systems to record inspection data and support production activities
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and comply with FDA, GMP, and company quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with manufacturing and cleanroom requirements
• Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements
• Be available to work the required Thursday–Sunday schedule and overtime on Fridays as needed - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
