Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in public relations, ideally including experience across entertainment, sports, and technology.



Preferred Qualifications

• A positive team-player attitude with a passion for sports, media, and consumer technology.

• Experience in sports, technology, broadcast media, or related PR spaces.

• Experience working with professional sports leagues and athletes.

• Experience with executive communications and thought leadership.

• Natural self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities. Can focus and deliver.

• Meticulous project manager with a passion for executing excellent, detail-oriented work.

• Effective collaborator who will work cross-functionally with teams and across geographies while demonstrating kindness and integrity at all times.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and issues and thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.

• Excellent writing, editing, and public speaking skills.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills that drive collaboration by building positive relationships.

• Expertise working across product marketing, business teams, and other internal partners.

• Ability to quickly analyze media coverage and sentiment, see around corners, shape narratives, and apply insights to the team’s work.

• A strong understanding of the shifting and complex media landscape.



Role Overview:

• In this capacity, you will support the global communications strategy for the client's sports initiatives, including Formula 1, Major League Soccer, Major League Baseball, and the Client Sports iPhone app.



• Working with the worldwide PR team, you will help support and implement global launches and news announcements, lead initiatives across the ecosystem, identify and manage issues in continuous news cycles, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and engage third-party partners.



• This position requires a proactive, flexible individual with excellent communication and storytelling abilities. Candidates should have strong media relations skills and relationships, especially across the consumer, sports, and content creator landscape, and demonstrated experience managing launches and experiential activations, navigating crisis communications, and driving momentum across various initiatives.
