***onsite for training and work quality reason in initial several weeks. Once they get familiar with the workflow and have demonstrated good quality of work, we are open to have them work remotely later on***

Descriptions:
summary:
Support department goal by receiving, analyzing, loading provider data on Medicaid products as well as others product lines as needed timely and accurately, ensuring quality of data by conducting data auditing, maintaining documentation tracks to answer data quality issue.

Essential responsibilities
• Performs spreadsheet analyses using tools such as Excel, identify and raise issues when applicable
• Load and update provider data including demographics, specialty, service location, assignment, credential to online provider management application within required time window
• Perform data auditing and quality check, correct data entry issue timely
• Create reports for downstream application about entered provider data
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
• Attention to Detail: Accurately inputting provider demographic data, such as names, addresses, and credentials, specialty, service location, group association, product details, and meticulously reviewing data for errors or inconsistencies during auditing processes.
• Data Entry Accuracy: Demonstrating high accuracy in entering provider information into databases or electronic systems, minimizing errors and ensuring the integrity of provider data.
• Analytical Skills: Analyzing provider data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, and identifying discrepancies or anomalies that require further investigation during auditing processes.
• Organizational Skills: Effectively organizing and managing provider data files, documents, and records, and maintaining systematic audit trails to track changes and updates to provider information. Adhere to established provider data loading rule and documentation mechanism. Ability to multitasking and prioritization.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Identifying root causes of data discrepancies or inaccuracies, developing corrective actions or remediation plans, and implementing solutions to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Communication Skills: Communicating effectively with internal teams, providers, and regulatory authorities to verify provider information, address data discrepancies, and facilitate resolution of audit findings.
• Technological Proficiency: Demonstrating proficiency in utilizing spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel), and Microsoft Office application

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, health care or related field or four (4) years of experience in a directly related field
• Healthcare working experience
• Understanding of Health plan product like Medicaid, Medicare, HMO
• Working experience with electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Progressive experience with data management including data loading, data manipulation, data reporting and analytics
• Knowledge of database system and data reporting tools
