Job Description
Education:
• BS degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
• MBA degree.
• Experience in manufacturing large engineer-to-order capital equipment environment.
• Rail Industry experience.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• BS/BA in related technical discipline, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years demonstrated experience in project management, industrial engineering, or operations management in an engineer-to-order, capital equipment manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in the manufacturing of large and complex industrial products.

Responsibilities:
• Drive production milestones to meet project schedule for vehicle delivery and acceptance.
• Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to production team members and production stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Organize interdepartmental activities and issues affecting production, including interactions with all Production departments, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality Management, and Project Management.
• Develop and deliver monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal / external stakeholders.
• Coach, mentor and motivate project team members and contractors; influence them to take positive actions to forward the project in their assigned scope.
• Report budget and schedule performance on a regular basis to the Project Management and initiate measures to mitigate any budget overruns or schedule slippage.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems, devise contingency plans.
• Drive cost reduction measures in operations departments related to the project.
• Ensure all project quality requirements are met.
• Coordinate and drive resolution of issues impacting successful production activities.
