Client's North America’s Indirect Procurement Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated procurement analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the creation and execution of category procurement strategies including but not limited to specific Information Systems/Technology Software and Software Service categories. Other categories such as Professional Services and Hardware may be supported as needed.
Reporting to the Indirect Procurement Sourcing Manager and in support of Client Future of Mobility, the person in this role will support the IPSS (Indirect Procurement Shared Services) department objective to provide innovative, stable and flexible solutions with industry-leading practices with an eye on reducing costs and mitigating risks.
What you’ll be doing
Understand implementation methodology and technology for Purchasing system (Ariba) and on-going support
Developing and implementing multi-year sourcing strategies for responsible spend categories.
Designing, planning, managing, and leading key Requests for Proposal, information, quote, etc. with cross-functional teams.
Supporting the development and execution of contractual documents including Non-Disclosure, SaaS Agreements, Software License Agreements, Services Agreements, and other contracts as necessary to support Procurement and business needs.
Collaborate closely with business key stakeholders and supplier partners to understand current conditions, identify and prioritize improvement opportunities, and deliver enhancements to improve quality and productivity.
Provide detailed documentation of how the applications/projects will support business requirements.
Identify innovative options to achieve business benefits and evaluate consistently based on predefined criteria. Effectively diagnose issues and identify the root cause and countermeasures.
Negotiate pricing and achieve cost savings while mitigating financial and legal risks for the enterprise.
Effectively manage all sourcing and price negotiation activities and in-coming ad hoc business unit requests that may result in a contract or purchase order.
Process business requests to issue purchase orders to suppliers.
Requirements: Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills:
5 or more years’ experience in Indirect Sourcing
Contract drafting and negotiation experience.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Ability to work with large, distributed teams with diverse competencies, skills, and ability to work in fast-paced/high-pressure culture.
Automotive industry experience
Analytical skills to build business solutions to best support business vision and strategy.
