Job Description

Education Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Certification:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is required and must be clearly listed on the candidate's resume. Proof of certification may be requested.

Preferred Certification:
• TOGAF, Cloud Solution Architecture, Azure, AWS, or GCP certifications preferred.

Minimum Requirements:
(Candidates must meet all minimum requirements including education to be considered)
• 10+ years of experience leading technical projects or programs in data, analytics, and cloud environments.
• 10+ years of experience leading data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing initiatives from planning through delivery.
• 10+ years of experience managing business intelligence, big data, and analytics projects within complex enterprise environments.
• 10+ years of experience supporting healthcare data initiatives; familiarity with FHIR, CCDA, HL7, or similar healthcare interoperability standards.
• 10+ years of experience working with SQL and database technologies to support project planning, estimation, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
• 10+ years of experience communicating complex technical concepts to business users, executive leadership, and non-technical stakeholders.
• 10+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams, vendors, and large-scale project implementations.
• 10+ years of experience collaborating with data engineers, developers, architects, analysts, and business partners.

• 8+ years of experience providing consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder management services.
• 8+ years of experience delivering customer-focused communications and engaging effectively with all organizational levels, including executives.
• 8+ years of experience demonstrating proactive leadership and self-directed project execution.
• Possession of PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or other advanced project management certifications.
• 3+ years of experience supporting AI, advanced analytics, machine learning, or digital transformation programs and initiatives.
• 3+ years of experience supporting cloud transformation initiatives involving Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Summary:
• Seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager with 10+ years of experience managing complex technology, data, analytics, and cloud initiatives in large enterprise environments.
• This role supports a Data Engineering Project within an AI Adoption Program, requiring strong project leadership, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and delivering moderate to highly complex business and technology solutions while ensuring alignment between business, engineering, data, and AI stakeholders.
• The individual will independently perform a variety of complex tasks, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate a high degree of creativity, initiative, and leadership.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of complex data engineering, analytics, and AI-related projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into project objectives, deliverables, and implementation plans.
• Develop project charters, schedules, work plans, timelines, resource plans, budgets, and status reports.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate activities across business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, developers, analysts, and AI program teams.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and executive leadership, translating complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Support cloud, data platform, data warehouse, data architecture, and analytics initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical leadership to align project activities with enterprise architecture and strategic objectives.
• Track project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, resource utilization, and financial status reporting.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, governance standards, and organizational policies.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, meeting notes, risks, issues, decisions, and lessons learned.
• Support AI and advanced analytics adoption efforts by coordinating stakeholders, deliverables, and program activities.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while providing proactive leadership and guidance to project teams.
• Coordinate vendor activities and manage external partner relationships as needed.
• Support implementation activities and ensure successful transition to operations.
