The SOW requires
• 5+ years of project management and project-plan/WBS experience and 3+ years of Azure DevOps and Microsoft Office/Project/SharePoint/Teams experience.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Scrum Lead to lead a large-scale modernization and rewrite of an enterprise School Finance Foundation Formula Payment System.
The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, Agile/Scrum coordination, stakeholder communication, risk and issue management, deliverable management, and coordination across business analysis, application development, data migration, testing, reporting, deployment, training, and implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the project through requirements, design, development, testing, data migration, deployment, implementation, and stabilization.
• Develop and maintain the detailed project plan and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Manage milestones, dependencies, resources, schedules, critical path activities, risks, issues, and action items.
• Lead Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate vendor and State project resources.
• Work closely with the Customer Product Owner and State IT project management personnel.
• Maintain project status reporting and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
• Support and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Coordinate deliverables and acceptance activities.
• Coordinate release, cutover, deployment, transition, and operational-readiness activities.
• Support knowledge transfer to State personnel.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and action items.
• Ensure project activities follow approved plans, State standards, security requirements, accessibility requirements, and project methodologies. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
