• Demonstrated experience building documentation, processes, or frameworks where none previously existed

• Certification in project and change management, such as PMP or Agile, preferred

• Working proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Excel/Google Sheets; comfort producing executive-ready updates via Slack and Sheets

• Working experience with AI tools such as Claude, Cowork, ChatGPT, or Gemini to accelerate PM work (documentation, synthesis, reporting)

Job Summary:

• Client is a mission-driven, global financial platform company that allows everyone to prosper

• We use technology to build solutions to challenging financial problems for millions of people around the world

• QuickBooks Sales works with a growing portfolio of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners to deliver world-class sales experiences to small businesses and accountants using QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Advanced, and related products

• Joining the team as a Project Manager on a 6-month contract, you will drive two concurrent initiatives that shape how QuickBooks Sales partners with BPOs globally: launching two new BPO partners into the portfolio, and designing a Global Sales BPO Center of Excellence that establishes a scaled, unified approach to partner management

• You will report directly to the Sr BPO Sales Strategist

• You will fuel the success of these initiatives by building the documentation, timelines, and partner relationships that don't yet exist today, partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Data Science, Sales Ops, Sales Leadership, Corporate Onboarding, and Sales Tech to keep both projects on track and set QuickBooks Sales up to scale its BPO partnerships with confidence

The Projects

• New BPO Launch

• Client QuickBooks Sales is onboarding two new BPO providers into its portfolio

• Go-live date: November 2, 2026

• This process is not currently documented on the Client side; you will be responsible for ensuring timelines are met, engaging internal and external partners and driving their workstreams, and documenting the process for how this work should be done going forward

• Global Sales BPO Center of Excellence

• The longer-running of the two initiatives

• This department does not yet exist; the goal is to design its structure and cost model

• Target go-live: May 1, 2027

• You will support the Sr BPO Sales Strategist in ensuring timelines are met, engaging internal partners and driving their workstreams, and documenting processes to create a Partner Management Framework (PMF) and/or playbooks supporting a scaled, unified approach across QuickBooks Sales globally

• Both projects run simultaneously across the full 6-month contract term

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end project and change management plans for the New BPO Launch and Global Sales BPO Center of Excellence, including creation and maintenance of project charters, plans, action trackers, risk & issues logs, and decision registers

• Build the first official documentation of the BPO onboarding process, and design a Partner Management Framework (PMF) and/or playbooks to support a scaled, unified approach to BPO partnerships across QuickBooks Sales globally

• Drive escalations and key go/no-go decisions ahead of the November 2, 2026 and May 1, 2027 go-live dates

• Identify the resources required from each partner team to execute both projects on time

•Role-model project and change management best practices across the teams you work with

Stakeholder Management

• Build a network of partners across Finance, Legal, Data Science, Sales Ops, Sales Leadership, Corporate Onboarding, Sales Tech, and the Partner Management network to keep both projects moving

• Facilitate alignment with the Sr BPO Sales Strategist and senior stakeholders on project timelines, requirements, and decisions

• Ensure BPO partners and their internal equivalents are informed of and engaged with changes that affect them

• Own the creation of engagement and communication strategies — including executive-style updates via Slack and Google Sheets — to manage stakeholder relationships and expectations

• Represent Sales BPO Programs in cross-functional planning to ensure successful delivery of both initiatives

Continuous Improvement

• Identify gaps in existing processes that need to be documented, standardized, or improved to support the Center of Excellence's scaled approach

• Drive retrospectives on the New BPO Launch to capture learnings that inform the Center of Excellence's Partner Management Framework and playbooks

Qualifications

About You

• These behaviors are adapted from the craft skills that apply to this role in Client Craft Skills Field Guide (PgM/PjM, Staff/M2): Connect Strategy to Execution, Execute with Rigor, Enable Scale and Velocity, Lead Change, and Domain Expertise

• Leads through influence - Builds a network of stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Data Science, Sales Ops, and Sales Leadership that supports delivery, and drives accountability for outcomes without formal authority over these teams

• Strategic thinking - Connects business strategy, external context, and internal realities into clear priorities, decisions, and execution paths that keep both projects focused on the highest-impact outcomes

• Drives winning results - Applies program and change management methodologies with discipline, using the best available tools and human judgment to accelerate decisions, uncover risks and dependencies, and drive them to resolution

• Communication - Communicates clearly on program progress and coaches and influences stakeholders with a compelling, data-backed case for change

• Lead change - Builds credibility and trust across teams, develops change strategies with extreme ownership, and drives stakeholders from plan to sustained adoption — tracking that change is embedded, not just delivered

• Analytical skills - Assesses qualitative and quantitative inputs — partner performance, program data, market signals — to identify trends, draw conclusions, and make data-informed decisions

• Enables scale - Experiments with new approaches, including AI, anchors them to outcomes, and codifies what works into repeatable frameworks and playbooks others can use, such as the Center of Excellence's Partner Management Framework

• Domain expertise - Rapidly builds deep knowledge of new program areas, using AI and available tools to accelerate ramp-up, then leverages that expertise to mobilize the right experts and sharpen program direction

• Stakeholder empathy - A high level of emotional intelligence that enables deep understanding of internal and external partner perspectives, building the trust needed to drive change

Additional Capabilities to Consider

• Not part of the Craft Skills Field Guide excerpt or the reference Customer Success job description, but commonly required for a high-performing PM in a role like this

• Suggested for review to accept or remove individually:

• Stakeholder reporting cadence — structuring and running a recurring update rhythm (eg weekly exec Slack/Sheets updates) so leadership always has current status without asking

• Budget / vendor management — tracking BPO contract costs, comparing vendor proposals, and flagging financial risk, relevant given the Center of Excellence's cost-modeling scope

• Risk / issue escalation ownership — owning a formal risk register and escalation path across two concurrent, high-visibility projects

• Cross-functional facilitation — running working sessions and workshops (eg for PMF/playbook design) that align Finance, Legal, Data Science, and Sales Ops without a formal shared reporting line
  • **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**

  • **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.**
