Job Description

Required Education:

• Master’s degree in computer or data science, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.



Required experience:

• 5+ years of experience - Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions.



Required Qualifications:

• Understanding of (or strong interest in developing expertise in) audience measurement methodology and how measurement providers and models differ across markets.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information for varied audiences and engage confidently with external stakeholders (vendors, industry bodies) as well as internal ones.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Knowledge and curiosity about TV content and the entertainment industry.

• Should be able to translate a business question into a query and analytic solution. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.



Preferred Qualifications:

• Nielsen data experience is a nice to have

• Prior experience working in entertainment/media



Required Technical Skills:

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, Looker, etc. (experience with one of these tools is acceptable)

• Working proficiency in SQL for data extraction; if they don’t have SQL, we can consider Python or R as well.



Job overview:

• The volume of work for this team has been increasing, we manage 3rd party measurement analytics for international markets, we started for UK/France/Canada and are now expanding requests for data from our ad sales teams for other markets, we will also receive requests from streaming and marketing and content strategy, which is driving the volume of work, we have added Brazil as a data set and are now reviewing other countries like Germany/Mexico/Columbia, etc.

• We will have this role manage the analytics requests received across these markets, and support preparation for vendor conversations, either they will do the adhoc requests and send out reporting for monthly reporting across markets.

• This person will help in establishing expertise on these individual markets and their nuances, the analytics work is about consumption data and what is being viewed on our platforms and competitor platforms. For instance, how are reality formats doing across platforms and they will pull the data and draw conclusions from that.



Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound ad-hoc and scheduled analytics requests across existing and expansion international markets for Ad Sales, Content Strategy, Streaming, and Marketing.

• Pull, clean, and analyze consumption and competitive viewership datasets using Google BigQuery.

• Translate cross-platform audience metrics and format performance (e.g., reality TV trends) into market-specific insights.

• Develop localized domain expertise across European, LATAM, and North American streaming/media landscapes.

• Support third-party measurement vendor workflows, data QA, and relationship reviews.
