Job Description
***Only qualified “IMA Project Manager” candidates located near the “NYC” area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence 3 days in office and 2 days remote***
Preferred Education
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
* Master’s degree preferred
Certifications
* Project Management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent preferred
Required Experience
* Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant industry experience
* Proven experience delivering Internal Models Approach (IMA) specific components including ES NMRF RFET and PLAT
* Strong Market Risk experience with familiarity in Historical Value at Risk (HVaR) model management
* Experience with Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) and other material front office driven regulatory initiatives
* Experience with derivatives trading risk and Profit and Loss (P&L) flows
* Proven track record in strategic project management and delivery of complex solutions
* Significant experience in Capital Markets transformation
* Experience with Markets Risk and Regulatory related projects and programs
Tech Skills
* Working knowledge of Markets business products regulatory capital and Market Risk or Credit Risk
* Experience with JIRA and Agile technology frameworks
* Ability to manage business requirements and support Technology teams in translating them into technical requirements
* Understanding of mechanisms used to track and communicate project performance
* Experience managing internal and external dependencies across complex initiatives

Responsibilities
* Lead project management and transformation activities for Capital Markets initiatives addressing regulatory audit risk control and risk management requirements
* Support the restarted Internal Models Approach project and ensure timely execution of deliverables across all workstreams
* Apply subject matter expertise in Capital Markets products and business lines to develop meaningful functional and sustainable solutions
* Manage multiple stakeholders to derive business requirements and support Technology teams in translating requirements into technical solutions
* Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives
* Partner with Risk Managers Product Owners Front Office Product Control and Technology teams to drive project execution
* Identify project challenges and proactively resolve or escalate risks and issues in a timely and well articulated manner
* Produce accurate and insightful project updates materials and artifacts for various forums and committees
* Build strong collaborative relationships across Global Markets front to back stakeholders
* Drive effective change management across business practices and global teams
* Provide thought leadership for target state design through engagement with stakeholders at various levels
* Work effectively with senior leaders and provide informed commentary on project progress risks and opportunities
