Job Description
***Only qualified Project Manager candidates located near the New York, New York area will be considered due to the position requiring a hybrid presence of 2 to 3 days in the office and 2 to 3 days remote***
Required Experience
* Five to seven years of Project Management experience within major and complex institutions such as Tier 1 banks or Top 4 consulting firms
* Strong Project Management experience leading major and complex initiatives
* Strong Capital Markets experience
* Experience working on Regulatory or Client Data Management projects preferred
* Broad Markets experience with the ability to operate across multiple asset classes
* Experience understanding front-to-back flows within Markets
* Experience managing multiple project workstreams and complex stakeholder groups
* Experience identifying, assessing and mitigating project risks and issues within financial markets
* Experience developing project plans including scope, timelines, dependencies and critical path analysis
* Experience working with Front Office, Technology Operations, Legal and Compliance teams
* Experience preparing executive-level presentations and project reporting
Tech Skills
* Strong data analysis skills
* Strong understanding of Markets products including Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, and Commodities
* Understanding of Markets trading environments
* Strong understanding of front-to-back Markets Client Data flows and impacted systems and processes
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint including data visualization and presentation of complex information
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including working with large data sets to identify, report and drive change
* Experience with project tracking systems and project documentation
* Knowledge of project management standards and governance processes

Responsibilities
* Lead development of strategic solutions supporting effective management of client static data across Markets
* Develop scalable processes to support client data management
* Take full ownership of project workstreams and ensure requirements are defined and implemented within agreed timelines
* Facilitate communication and collaboration across stakeholders and functional teams
* Build consensus and secure buy in for project objectives and deliverables
* Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively address concerns and roadblocks
* Collaborate with Front Office Desks Technology Operations Legal and Compliance teams
* Develop detailed project plans covering scope timelines dependencies and critical path activities
* Proactively identify assess and mitigate project risks and issues
* Develop escalation paths and contingency plans
* Communicate project risks and issues transparently to relevant stakeholders and senior management
* Maintain appropriate project documentation and ensure risks and issues are properly documented and escalated
* Prepare concise PowerPoint presentations for weekly project reporting and monthly governance forums
* Present key achievements risks issues and upcoming milestones to stakeholders and senior management
* Tailor project communications based on the audience
* Maintain accurate and current project information within project tracking systems
* Ensure proper documentation of project artifacts for audit and compliance purposes
* Follow applicable project management standards and governance requirements
