Preferred Education/ Certifications:

• Professional certifications such as PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or related credentials.

Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:

• Strong project management skills and an accountability mindset; ability to execute pre-built task plans, take a task list to determine requirements, verify completion, require proof, and hold cross-functional teams accountable (avoiding a "checking the box" or "task-doer" mentality).

• Ability to handle many changing priorities simultaneously while coordinating complex cross-functional projects.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a willingness to speak up for clarity, question completion, and present complex information concisely.

• Intermediate to advanced experience in project management, accounting, and/or payment processing.

• Knowledge of finance, accounting, operational processes, month-end close, and shared services environments, specifically including procure-to-pay (three-way match, requisition-to-PO) and high-level payment processing (vendor/supplier side, invoice entry, payment flow).

• Familiarity with navigating ERP platforms and enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Workday); specific system expertise is not required as training will be provided.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.

• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to develop executive-level presentations and analyses.

• Ability to work systematically in an SOP-driven environment with strict project task plans rather than agile/waterfall methodologies.

Desired Skills, Experience, & Abilities:

• Experience supporting project management, corporate development, management consulting, transformation, M&A, or business operations initiatives (M&A experience is highly valued but not required, as it can be taught).

• Full lifecycle project management experience (welcome for improving or facilitating plans, though not strictly required as project plans are pre-built).

• Understanding of project management methodologies, governance processes, and risk management practices.

• Experience supporting data migration, system implementations, or business process transformation initiatives.

• Exposure to larger corporate environments, particularly with full procure-to-pay cycles.

Job Overview:

The team is responsible for supporting the successful execution of strategic business initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions and divestitures. As an M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) Business Integration Manager, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end integration activities across multiple functional areas to enable seamless business transitions and operational readiness. This position partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify integration requirements, assess operational impacts, manage risks and dependencies, and support the implementation of target-state processes, systems, and organizational structures. The role serves as a critical link between operational teams and project teams to ensure integration activities are executed efficiently, and business objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities:

• Execute project task plans across functional teams within the shared service center (finance), focusing on procure-to-pay, accounting, and month-end close.

• Manage shared service center staff handling payments, journal entries, and supplier processing, strictly holding them accountable, verifying completion, and escalating issues to the manager as needed.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependency trackers, and implementation schedules.

• Coordinate activities across Global Business Services (GBS), Finance, Technology, and other functional teams.

• Monitor project progress, track integration milestones and deliverables, and escalate key risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies.

• Assess current-state and target-state business processes to identify operational gaps, overlaps, and improvement opportunities.

• Support process harmonization, standardization, operating model transitions, testing, operational readiness, and post-integration stabilization efforts.

• Partner with business leaders and functional stakeholders to drive alignment across integration workstreams.

• Facilitate workshops, governance meetings, and stakeholder discussions while documenting key decisions and action items.

• Maintain integration risk and issue logs and support the development of mitigation and contingency plans.

• Assess system integration requirements and coordinate data migration, process transitions, and system cutover activities.

• Partner with systems teams to support ERP, financial systems, reporting, master data, and operational integrations.

• Develop executive-ready presentations, dashboards, reports, and governance materials for senior leadership.

• Support change management initiatives, stakeholder communications, training activities, and business continuity efforts throughout transitions.
