Position Summary
The Project Manager will support the execution and delivery of medium-complexity business and technical projects within a regulated industry environment. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, developing and maintaining project schedules, managing risks, and ensuring successful delivery of project milestones.
The Project Manager works closely with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives, technical requirements, and budget expectations. The role requires strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills to guide teams through project execution while maintaining compliance with organizational standards and regulatory guidelines.
The position supports complex programs and systems-level projects rather than software development initiatives and plays an active role in facilitating design reviews, risk management, and project planning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
• Facilitate execution of project or program solution plans for complex systems-level projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using established project management tools.
• Coordinate overall project planning activities and allocate appropriate resources.
• Support project/program management activities including schedule, budget, risk, change, and resource management.
Stakeholder & Customer Collaboration
• Consult with customers on technical solutions in collaboration with Sales Managers or Key Account Managers.
• Clarify customer objectives, requirements, and specifications during proposal or RFP processes.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Risk & Budget Management
• Monitor project milestones and ensure adherence to budget and timelines.
• Maintain risk registers and proactively identify potential project risks.
• Initiate corrective actions to minimize non-conformance costs and project delays.
Team Leadership & Coordination
• Lead cross-functional project teams and facilitate collaboration across departments.
• Manage and coordinate temporarily assigned project staff.
• Guide teams toward decisions while encouraging collaborative discussion and participation.
Operational & Compliance Support
• Support tender participation and assist with negotiations when required.
• Coordinate commissioning measures onsite in collaboration with Site Engineering Management.
• Ensure adherence to project management standards and business conduct guidelines including regulatory compliance, export control, tax regulations, and environmental health and safety standards.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within project teams.
• Travel: Occasional travel to other company sites may be required (not client locations)
