Required Education:

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Strong project management tools expertise, including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• 3–5 years of experience in the financial services or insurance industry
• 4+ years of IT experience managing large-scale IT programs or portfolios
• 4+ years of experience with system integrations
• 2+ years of vendor management and contract negotiation experience,e including SOWs and invoices
• 2+ years of strong financial acumen managing program or portfolio budgets
• Proven skills in invoice management, forecasting, vendor management, contract negotiation, and financial services

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Experience with SDLC and Agile project delivery methodologies
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with project documentation, project plans, and reporting
• Knowledge of PMI/PMP standards and best practices
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Project proficiency

Project Manager Overview:
• The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional technical project teams and managing complex IT initiatives from initiation through delivery
• This role partners closely with business and IT stakeholders to define scope, manage schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies, and ensure alignment with overall business strategy
• The Project Manager serves as a trusted advisor to sponsors and stakeholders, providing clear communication, proactive risk mitigation, and consistent project governance
• This position requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to manage large-scale programs involving multiple vendors, integrations, and platforms
• The Project Manager ensures adherence to SDLC and Agile methodologies while driving timely, high-quality delivery of solutions that address defined business needs
• Accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and outcomes is central to this role, along with the ability to influence decisions and remove obstacles to enable team success

Job Duties:
• Lead technical project teams and assess people and budget requirements in alignment with business strategy
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to drive project delivery and maintain strong working relationships
• Ensure compliance with SDLC methodology for tasks, documentation, modifications, conversions, and implementations
• Maintain consistent use of project management tools and documentation standards across projects
• Define, manage, and maintain detailed project plans using Microsoft Project
• Develop, monitor, and report on project tasks, deliverables, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and actuals
• Actively manage resource plans and approved funding
• Provide clear, targeted communication and documentation to stakeholders at all levels
• Own overall project schedule, budget, status tracking, and reporting
• Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues as needed
• Lead issue resolution efforts to minimize impact to scope, schedule, and budget
• Manage conflict and priorities to prevent delivery delays
• Partner with internal and external teams, including business, technical, compliance, communications, and vendors
• Provide regular status updates and serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders
• Influence decisions, assess risk and impact, and negotiate priorities and solutions
• Remove barriers and enable teams to deliver objectives on time and within budget
