Required Skills

• Project Management: Strong PM skill set (processes/best practices), 5+ years corporate PM experience completing large-scale/complex IT implementations

• Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Project (detailed schedules, critical path analysis), Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

• Finance: Strong working knowledge of project finance and best practices, ability to manage financial budgets

• Methodologies: PMP and Agile certified required, Agile certifications (CSM, CSP) strongly preferred, SAFe and Azure DevOps a plus

• Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, public speaking to large groups and executives, self-starter who works autonomously, skilled problem solver, change champion/leader

• Decision Making: Comfortable with real-time decision-making in absence of complete information

• Vendor Management: Experience managing IT vendors (system integrators) adhering to SOW/T&C, scope management, external vendor financials

• Leadership: Ability to lead without direct authority in a matrixed organization, instruct/coach less experienced colleagues

• Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, document, and develop mitigation plans for project risks and issues

• Lean Six Sigma: Black Belt/Green Belt training/certification a plus

• Travel: Comfortable with up to 20% domestic travel



The IT Project Manager initiates, plans, executes, controls, and closes multiple simultaneous IT projects. Applies the Navistar IT process and leads cross-functional teams to complete tasks and deliverables according to the project schedule: on time, with quality, and within budget. Requires people and resource management skills to work alongside and also manage cross-functional teams to complete projects. Successful candidates will demonstrate a history of success leading teams in a matrixed organization structure as well as success in leading without direct authority. The IT Project Manager has ultimate responsibility for the success of the project achieving its stated financial and performance targets.



Key Responsibilities:

• Manages all project processes including interdepartmental meetings, technical/functional resource identification and allocation, feasibility and impact assessments, development of detailed project plans/schedules/budgets, project timeline and progress tracking, budgetary month-over-

month forecast/actuals updates, change control process, management of required SDLC documentation to define project requirements, training, interdepartmental communications for implementation readiness, and any other project activities needed to ensure on-time delivery within

budget constraints

• Selects, develops, and evaluates team resources to ensure efficient operation of the project and its goals

• Coordinates work performed by both internal staff and external partners.Experience managing large-scale product development/manufacturing projects in Truck OEM/Heavy Equipment/Electric Vehicle space with technologies such as:

• Projects vary in number, size, and complexity

• Works as a team leader in a fast-moving dynamic environment to deliver implementations that drive and support modernization across the organization

• Expected to develop detailed project scope, budget, and schedules based on intent from leadership

• Works autonomously to drive the proper process/documentation/tools needed to motivate and accomplish goals

• Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes

• Instructs, coaches, or provides informal guidance to other professionals or colleagues with less experience

• Rockwell/PINpoint Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

• Infor/LN/Baan (ERP)

• OTA (Over the Air) update solutions for Connected Vehicle/Telematics

• Service Tools/Diagnostics for Module Flashing/Parameter Programming/Fault Code Diagnostics Support

• Security initiatives for PKI enablement

• Integration/Interface/API development

• Cloud solutions like Azure and AWS
