Job Description
Required Education/Experience:



Associate’s degree and at least 1 year of materials management experience OR At least 2 years of materials management experience



Required Qualifications:



Client has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Associate at the Midwest Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Joliet, IL. The Midwest PDC has more than 800,000 square feet of space and over 80,000 SKUs. The Inventory Control Associate will report into the Finance Manager. In this position you will split your time in an office environment and in the warehouse assisting in managing warehouse inventory.

• Must be comfortable being trained to drive a Cherry Picker

• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management Software or TOLAS System are a plus



Responsibilities:



• Perform clerical and support tasks to ensure that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel

• Under supervision, assist with physical inventory counts and reconciling results with inventory records

• Investigate inventory overages/shortages, cycle count discrepancies, and locate missing inventory

• Ensure that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct

• Assist with processing Shipped in Error (SIE) claims and investigations as well as Dealer Returns

• Provide backup and assist with other Inventory Control duties as needed

• Assist with Pick Exceptions/Inventory Shortages throughout the day
