Required Qualifications:

• Experience managing projects in the natural gas utility industry

• Background in transmission and/or distribution projects

• Strong knowledge of:

o Scope, schedule, and budget management

o Financial forecasting, estimating, and accruals

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects



Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant experience

• Experience with gas facilities and station projects

• Familiarity with Primavera P6

• Technical engineering background

• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel



Soft Skills:

• Strong communication (written and verbal)

• Ability to present to leadership (Stage Gate reviews)

• Conflict resolution and problem-solving

• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

• Stakeholder and vendor management



Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Engineering) to support the Processing Controls Engineering group within the gas organization. This role is responsible for managing multiple capital projects focused on facilities and stations across the natural gas transmission and distribution system.

The Project Manager will oversee projects ranging from $300K to $2.5M, typically managing 6–8 projects annually, each spanning approximately two years:

• Year 1: Engineering and permitting

• Year 2: Construction



This position requires managing multiple projects simultaneously across various phases.



Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget across multiple concurrent projects

• Lead projects through a structured 7-stage gate process

• Coordinate with contractors and cross-functional internal teams

• Facilitate cross-functional team (CFT) meetings

• Oversee financial forecasting, accruals, and cost tracking

• Drive project execution from engineering through construction and close-out

• Ensure alignment with internal stakeholders and external partners
