Job Description
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience supporting NLP/ML evaluation programs or localization analytics initiatives.

• Strong understanding of evaluation design and statistical analysis, including defining statistically valid sample sizes.

• Experience working with machine translation (MT) and quality estimation (QE) evaluation metrics and benchmarking against human review standards.

• Ability to analyze evaluation outcomes and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.

• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Python and Tableau.

• Strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail and structured problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to present complex technical results in a clear, concise manner.

• Capability to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends within large datasets.



JOB DUTIES

• Support the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of evaluation frameworks for machine translation and quality estimation models.

• Conduct structured evaluations to measure model performance, quality, and potential risks using established linguistic and statistical methodologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define evaluation objectives, success criteria, and reporting standards.

• Analyze evaluation data to generate meaningful insights that inform product and model improvements.

• Ensure datasets used for evaluations meet quality, consistency, and statistical reliability standards.

• Apply quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to assess model outputs against human evaluation benchmarks.

• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate evaluation results effectively.

• Monitor evaluation trends and identify performance gaps, risks, or opportunities for optimization.

• Maintain organized documentation of evaluation processes, methodologies, and outcomes.
