Project Coordinator
Period: 06/06/2023 to 06/06/2025
Location: Ankeny, IA 50023

Description:
Represents a business group on strategic and tactical project teams and serves as the point of contact for issues to ensure that the needs of the group are known, defined and met.

Duties:
* Represents the business group on project teams and serves as the point of contact.
* Evaluates, develops and implements new processes and policies to maximize operating efficiencies and satisfy business requirements.
* Develops and defines requirements for projects.
* Develops and executes test plans and timelines to enable smooth and timely project implementations.
* Develops and updates department specific forms, contracts or manuals; Coordinates communication with appropriate personnel or customers.
* Creates and updates spreadsheets and databases to track statistical data.
* Creates documentation and training materials.
* May provide training on updated processes and policies.
* Assists the business group with daily job responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities:
* Gathers information to create and manage reports involving intermediate computations and utilization of several sources of information
* Assists with the coordination, research, and compilation of material for special projects
* Maintain the Program Web Site/Share Point Site
* Develop/produce ad hoc reports for Program/Project(s) as needed
* Be responsible for project coordination and accountable for delivering the product to our customer at the metrics established
* Facilitate and work with teams in a matrix organization of product development, PV&V, quality & manufacturing engineers, cost management, supply management, marketing and customer support professionals to define and track changes for small projects
* Develop, maintain, and track schedules utilizing C-Projects, Excel, Power BI, SAP, and Gantt charts
* Develop and analyze metrics to ensure project objectives are achieved

ADDITIONAL:
To support tracking, reporting, and processing of ECM work at JDDMW. This position ensures that cProjects tasks are prioritized and moving forward on a regular basis.

This position will be responsible or heavily involved in:
- Daily notification of open tasks
- Creation and Maintenance of Power BI and Excel reports to meet internal customer needs
- SharePoint utilization and integration for tracking change documentation
- Participation in reviews and meetings to define priorities and schedules of proposed changes

REQUIRED:
- Leadership skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Process-driven
- Competency in planning thoroughly and executing consistently
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including macros and pivot table experience, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of SharePoint and Power BI

PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of project management practices
- Knowledge of product development processes
- Knowledge of SAP & C-Projects
- Web application experience
- 2 or 4 year degree in Engineering/Technology/Business/IT

Business casual dress code.
No travel associated with this position.
Interviews will take place through MS Teams.
