Job Description
Required Education:
• Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, Accounting, Economics, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Marketing, or another related field, plus a minimum of 3 years of related work experience
• High school diploma, plus a minimum of 5 years of related work experience

Preferred Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, Accounting, Economics, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Marketing, or another related field
• Bachelor’s degree accompanied by 3 years of related work experience is desired

Preferred Certification:
• Certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI) is desired
• AACE certification is desired

Required Experience:
• Proficiency in project control concepts, methodologies, techniques, scheduling, and cost engineering practices.
• Ability to perform performance analysis, business planning, budgeting, economic analysis, cost control, and forecasting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with work management and project management software, including Primavera, Maximo, PowerPlan, C55, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Client business, budgetary, financial, and workforce planning processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in resource loading and allocation, cost and schedule integration, and risk management.
• Understanding of relevant Client SPPs, processes, and guidance documents.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and execute assignments based on general objectives/results.
• Ability to track project progress, variances, KPIs, controls, costs, schedules, risks, scope, and milestones.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate across multiple functions and with engineering, plant, project, contractors, and business partners.
• Ability to work at plant/field locations and provide field support as required.
• Ability and willingness to travel to plant/field locations and, when necessary, accept temporary field assignments.
• When applicable, ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, on-call rotational assignments, and permitted overtime during peak periods, subject to medical and procedural requirements.

• Experience with Client-specific project controls, planning, financial, budgetary, and workforce processes
• Experience with project management/work management tools such as Primavera, Maximo, PowerPlan, and C55
• Experience in project cost and schedule forecasting, performance analysis, risk management, budgeting, and economic analysis
• Experience developing schedule scenarios and project benefit analyses
• Experience supporting project initiation, funding, execution, and closure processes
• Experience working in plant, field, engineering, construction, or contractor environments

Plans and executes project-related work with minimal supervision and independently performs assignments with instructions regarding the expected general results. Responsible for supporting project controls, monitoring, reporting, administration, planning, forecasting, financial management, and project initiation/closure activities. Monitors project cost, schedule, scope, risk, milestones, performance indicators, and changes to help ensure effective project controls. Works cross-functionally with engineering, plant, project teams, contractors, accounting, management, and other business partners. Supports project and portfolio planning, budgeting, forecasting, work management, and process improvement. Provides field support at assigned project sites and interfaces continuously with relevant project stakeholders.

Job Duties:
• Track and update project progress, variances, KPIs, and control changes.
• Analyze cost and schedule trends against established baselines and recommend improvements to management.
• Implement standard approaches for project performance monitoring, reporting, analysis, trend assessment, scheduling, and estimating.
• Implement Client and business-unit processes and procedures.
• Collect and input project data into project management tools and software.
• Prepare, coordinate, review, and distribute project/work management reports, including progress, financial, and risk reports.
• Document project progress and changes and forecast cost and schedule impacts.
• Communicate project updates, forecasts, and projections to team members.
• Participate in project prioritization activities.
• Support change requests, lessons learned, work authorization, work management, and process improvement activities.
• Assist with development of project and portfolio business planning budgets.
• Establish and maintain effective controls for project cost, schedule, scope, risk, and milestones.
• Perform monthly forecasting and financial submissions, including accruals and journal vouchers.
• Participate in and support project meetings and reviews.
• Coordinate with Fixed Assets Accounting to determine the appropriate classification of project work orders.
• Support development, implementation, and monitoring of purchase agreements and expenditures.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and costs in appropriate project management systems.
• Support seasonal and long-range project planning.
• Prepare schedule scenarios and project benefit analyses.
• Provide field support at project sites.
• Interface with engineering, plant, project, contractor, and partner organizations.
• Assist with project planning, initiation, funding requests, and closure using project management software and tools.
• Prepare project approval packages and related documentation.
