Job Description
***Only qualified candidates located near the Baton Rouge, LA area to be considered due to the position requiring onsite presence***
Preferred Education:
• A degree in a technical area of study is preferred or equivalent work-related industry experience
Preferred Certification:
• Certifications and licenses are also given consideration
Required Experience & Skills:
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in data analytics and problem solving, development, data migrations and/or working with Enterprise Content Management application repositories
• 4+ years of experience with Db2 and/or Microsoft SQL Server
• 3+ years of experience in data extraction/transformation/migration and load processes
• 2+ years of experience with .net core, angular, Telerik, angular, bootstrap, entity framework, API services, CSS and html5
Preferred Experience & Skills:
• DevOps methodologies for development and testing
• Precise communication and presentation skills
• Broad understanding of FileNet P8 Platform Repository
• Knowledge of repositories, Object Stores and Taxonomy
• Proficient in writing, maintaining, and optimizing complex SQL code
• Experience with database backup/recovery
• Experience with C# and VB.Net
• Experience with Kofax Capture or IBM DataCap
• Experience with BI and data warehouse tools
• Experience working in dynamic team-oriented environment
Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements, assess alternative solutions, design, develop and implement application code/fixes as required for a successful migration solution
• Provide analysis for highly complex programs; formulate logic for key migration activities including the extraction, conversion and ingestion into FileNet. Responsible for proof of concept using data sampling and provide repeatable data transformations
• Provide data driven reports to verify quality and quantity of imported data
• Provide timely and accurate testing, validation and reconciliation reports. Provide summary and plan of action for any irregularities found
• Provide and maintain the migration schedule, including the migration timeline, testing plan and reconciliation plan
• Provide technical deliverables, project status updates and completion information to managers and/or users
• Provides analysis of problems and recommends solutions
• Consult with team to create data maps to match source data to destination data and create field level mapping and to document where data transformations need to be created
• Document work processes and manage internal teams and partners on tools or new features as they are developed
• Prioritize and resolve immediate technical issues
• Flexible and willing to work after hours or on weekends for urgent migration tasks
