Project Overview
The Client is seeking a Public Health Program Supervisor to provide project leadership and supervision in support of public health initiatives and collaboration with local public health agencies throughout Missouri.
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week, or 1,040 hours within a 12-month period. The position may work remotely but must be Missouri-based and available to report to Client locations and travel throughout Missouri as needed. Meetings with the Client and external partners will generally occur during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on project needs.
Duties
• Supervise a team of one staff member and monitor work to ensure project deliverables are completed.
• Collaborate with Client staff and local public health agencies to achieve project goals.
• Apply project management principles to establish and maintain project expectations, activities, and timelines.
• Develop processes to support team activities and project requirements.
• Perform quality improvement activities to continually improve customer service and project processes.
• Work transparently and collaboratively with the Center for Local Public Health Services Director.
• Support systems mapping activities and related project initiatives.
• Develop clear and concise tools for collecting and documenting systems mapping data.
• Develop training and support materials, including PowerPoint presentations, guidance documents, and other resources.
• Present information to individuals and groups through virtual and in-person meetings, trainings, and convenings.
• Communicate project information clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Represent the Client professionally and respectfully when working with key stakeholders and external partners.
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and other project activities.
• Utilize Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and other communication tools to communicate with stakeholders.
• Follow applicable Client policies and procedures.
• Maintain and organize project information using network drives and shared workspaces.
• Meet with Client staff virtually or in person as requested.
• Travel throughout Missouri for meetings, technical assistance, training, and other project-related activities.
