Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the continued implementation, operations, monitoring, and long-term sustainability of Rhode Island's Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Demonstration.
In this role, you will coordinate a complex, statewide initiative involving multiple state agencies, healthcare providers, and subject matter experts. You will establish project management processes, maintain implementation plans, track deliverables, manage risks and dependencies, facilitate stakeholder meetings, and ensure decisions and follow-up actions move forward.
Working closely with the CCBHC Program Director and the State Interagency Team, you will help align policy, fiscal, clinical, data, Medicaid, and operational workstreams. This is a program management role; you are not expected to be the technical expert in every subject area.

Key Responsibilities
Program Planning and Implementation
• Develop and maintain program plans, workstreams, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables
• Coordinate implementation and readiness activities across state agencies, providers, and program partners
• Track progress, identify roadblocks, and ensure responsible parties remain accountable for deadlines
• Support planning for ongoing operations, continuous improvement, and long-term program sustainability
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Coordinate policy, fiscal, clinical, data, Medicaid, and operational subject matter experts
• Identify cross-agency dependencies, emerging issues, and risks requiring resolution
• Escalate decisions and barriers to the Program Director and appropriate stakeholders
• Maintain consistent communication among state teams, healthcare providers, managed care organizations, and community partners
Meetings and Stakeholder Engagement
• Plan and facilitate interagency, provider, technical, and stakeholder meetings
• Prepare agendas, meeting materials, decision records, and action-item trackers
• Document decisions, assign owners, monitor follow-up, and communicate implementation guidance
• Support provider engagement, technical assistance coordination, outreach, and community awareness efforts
Program Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
• Coordinate activities related to provider certification, readiness, and compliance monitoring
• Support collaboration on Medicaid rate setting, billing protocols, fiscal oversight, and related operational issues
• Coordinate program evaluation, quality reporting, and data collection across providers and partner agencies
• Help use performance data to demonstrate program value, identify improvement opportunities, and monitor progress
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, risk logs, and leadership updates

  • **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**

  • **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.**
