Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or a technical field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum 7 years of increasing responsibility with IT project and program management especially successfully coordinating various IT projects in a matrixed environment.

• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project/program management certification preferred.



Skills

• Proficiency in data analytics and financial modeling concepts desired.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Understand the software development life cycle and experienced in IT project management methodologies (hybrid, Agile, Waterfall).

• Strong and tested program management skills including conflict resolution, risk mitigation, facilitation, creation and presentation of data (updates, status, etc), vendor management.

• Ability to promote and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment with project team members, co-workers, management, and vendors by behaving, collaborating, and communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards.

• Ability to handle broad-based, often complex, communication for internal and/or external audiences.

• Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills, SharePoint, M365 tools.

• Experience with SAP SAC advantageous.



Description:

Project Overview

The IT Program Manager role will support the execution of Client projects within our SAP Analytics Cloud program. The program consists of the deployment of reports and models to support Client ERP analytics functions as well as integrations with the ERP ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in IT project management, and analytics and ERP technologies and terminology and concepts. This role involves ensuring the seamless execution of projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, IT budgets, and resources, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The IT Program Manager role will support the assigned program to design and deliver scalable, sustainable enterprise portfolio, program, and project management (“EPPM”) business capabilities and to support all Client/Canals’ project delivery functions.



Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT projects within the program, ensuring alignment with both business and IT objectives and strategic goals.

• Define the scope, objectives, and deliverables of programs and projects in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

• Engage with stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design optimal solutions, provide updates, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

• Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ability to manage/coordinate the RFP process, including issuing bids, evaluating proposals, and selecting the most suitable solutions.

• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to build, test, and implement project deliverables.

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.

• Lead and mentor project teams, offering guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.

• Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

• Oversee and manage IT project budgets, ensuring they align with program requirements.

• Monitor and control project expenditures to stay within budget constraints.

• Identify and manage project risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential challenges.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
