What are the main 3-5 responsibilities of this resource?

Covering for Leave, they will be working on existing projects. Retail development (retail sales), they will be working with both our team and our client Target to sell in our key properties. Ideally they should have Target and/or retailer experience, or studio entertainment licensing experience or sales experience with consumer products, 4+ years experience required.

Either will have entertainment or retail/consumer products, fewer candidates with licensing. We are not a process oriented organization, they should be able to think and work independently with good judgement to complete their tasks, be an outside of the box thinker and be agile in their solutions development. They should be a self-starter with solutioning, and be proactive in their approach in seeking out information. They will need to communicate effectively with other teams to source information for their deliverables and drive production of their deliverable. They will multi-task and work on multiple objectives at the same time. We are also a team where observational learning works best, we are collaborative in taking direction and follow through. Strong written and verbal communication is key. Should be able to share and present information to a client. They will need to be polished in their representation of the brands that they support.

Job Description:



Role Overview

The Manager, Retail Development, Global Products & Experiences is responsible for executing retail strategies that drives sell-in of licensed merchandise across key retail partners. This role manages day-to-day relationships with retailers and licensees, ensures strong in-store execution, and supports the growth of the brands through compelling consumer product offerings.



Key Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with retail partner (Target) and licensees to drive sell-in and sell-through of licensed products across key hardlines categories including Sporting Goods, Bullseyes Playground, Food & Beverage and Essentials & Beauty.

• Execute retail strategies across category responsibilities

• Monitor retail performance and identify opportunities to increase sales and distribution

• Partner with licensing category teams to support product launches and retail activations in partnership with licensees

• Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all licensed products and retail placements

• Conduct store visits and retail audits to ensure merchandising standards are met and identify new opportunities

• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity

• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, category, franchise) to support campaigns
