Required Skills:
• 4+ years of experience in release management, deployment coordination, or a related delivery role within software implementation or technology consulting environments

Preferred Skills:
• Proven understanding of SDLC, environment management, and change control processes
• Experience with release or work-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar tools
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams under time pressure
• Experience managing multiple release schedules simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
• Experience working with federal or state government agencies

Job Duties:
• Create and manage the release calendar and coordinate release schedules across concurrent projects
• Define and enforce release management processes, including release readiness criteria, approval gates, and rollback plans
• Partner with development, QA, and UAT teams to confirm release scope, sequencing, and dependencies
• Lead release planning and go/no-go meetings, ensuring risks and open items are visible to stakeholders before deployment
• Coordinate deployment activities across environments (dev, test, staging, production) with technical teams
• Maintain release documentation, including release notes, change logs, and post-release reports
• Identify and mitigate release risks, escalating issues that could affect timeline or client commitments
• Support post-release monitoring and coordinate quick resolution of any issues that surface after go-live
• Continuously refine release management practices and templates to improve consistency across engagements
