• Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment with operations and business stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience supporting leadership-level updates and decision-making
• Strategic Leadership - Ability to translate high level strategic requirements into executable plan and actions
• Cross Functional Influence & Coordination - Proven strength in working across operations, technical teams, and enterprise stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and move complex, matrixed initiatives forward without direct authority
• Systems Thinking & Problem Solving - Ability to understand how people, processes, and tools connect across the business landscape, identify root causes, and develop structuralized solutions
Preferred Experience, Knowledge & Skills
• Background in utility, wildfire, forestry, and/or climate

Job Responsibilities
• Help define scope, conduct discovery, and align objectives of initiatives
• Support project/initiative planning end to end
• Align on roles and responsibilities with partners and relevant cross-functional Client teams
• Maintain ongoing communications cadence with partner organizations
• Identify, analyze, and address project performance issues
• Ensure quality of project delivery, troubleshooting with pilot partners as needed to accomplish project goals
• Track and review project deliverables
• Communicate project status to internal stakeholders on regular basis
• Coordinate partner projects with Client operations as needed
• Assess project risk and develop contingency plans; and identify and communicate lessons learned and best practices
• Manage and accountable for technical implementation plan across projects
• Create executive level power point presentations
• Coordinate and participate in field visits
• Support with various ad-hoc requests supporting Electric Operations Strategy team
Position Summary
The Program Manager, Electric Operations Strategy leads the planning, governance, and execution of a portfolio of strategic initiatives, programs, and pilots that advance Electric Operations priorities. This role serves as a critical bridge between strategy and execution—providing structure, discipline, and cross-functional coordination to ensure initiatives are prioritized effectively, delivered on schedule, and scaled for sustained operational impact. The Program Manager partners closely with operations, data and digital teams, and executive stakeholders to drive performance transparency, resolve cross-organizational dependencies, and translate leadership direction into measurable, repeatable outcomes.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact and high-visibility role that puts this individual right in the center of the Electric strategy org, to enable catastrophic wildfire risk reduction, climate adaptation, climate mitigation, and improved affordability for the customers that Client has the privilege to serve
Department
The Electric Operations Strategy (EOE) organization provides enterprise-level strategic Support, and operational enablement for Electric T&D. The department partners closely with leadership to translate utility-wide priorities into executable operating processes, scalable pilots/solutions, and measurable performance outcomes.
EOE serves as a connective layer between field operations, program execution, data and digital enablement, and enterprise strategy, ensuring that initiatives are prioritized, standardized, and delivered in a way that improves safety, reliability, affordability, and operational efficiency
