Job Description
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

• PMP, Agile certifications or equivalent demonstrated practical technical program management experience is desired



Required Skills:

• Proven Leadership: 8+ years of experience building, leading and delivering complex, large-scale technical programs within a matrixed organization

• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development approaches, architecture, and lifecycles (5+ years)

• Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze industry trends, understand Client strategy, and make data-driven decisions that accelerate business outcomes

• Exceptional Communicator: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels in a matrix organization, from individual contributors to senior executives

• Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to gather, analyze, and utilize data to assess program progress, identify risks, and drive decision-making



Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile methodologies is highly desired (5+ years)

• Familiarity with data analytics and AI/ML concepts is a plus



Duties:

• Drive and own the program plan, including tying the business unit, portfolio and program strategy together

• Use influence to help teams understand how the program fits into the overall strategy

• Prioritize initiatives within the program and surface risks and trade-offs as well as recommendations to the stakeholders

• Communicate the program plan, status and risk to wide-ranging audiences, visually communicating goals of the program, relationship to business goals, and other relevant success criteria

• Lead cross-functional dependency management for assigned programs

• Breakdown and organize the program into manageable pieces that can be delegated or individually owned

• Drive the status and reporting structure in a manner that is consistent with both Agile principles and the needs of the program

• Develop decision-making principles and recommendations for decisions

• Identify risks, develop a risk mitigation plan and gain buy-in from stakeholders

• Use data, principles and risk mitigation to assess progress to plan
