Job Description
***Only qualified Program Manager located near the Mountain View, CA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Required Skills:
• Proven Teaching Experience: 5+ years of experience teaching federal income tax at the college level or equivalent professional training experience.
• Expertise as a true subject matter expert in federal income tax preparation.
• You have a strong understanding of curriculum development and/or instructional design principles, with a passion for creating effective learning experiences.
Duties:
• Expert Development Tax and Bookkeeping Educator Client is on a mission to power prosperity around the world, providing innovative financial platform solutions like TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma and Mailchimp, that empower millions.
• Join the dynamic Client Academy team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our expert network! As a Tax and Bookkeeping Educator, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering engaging learning experiences.
• You'll empower both our existing Client Experts to deepen their tax and bookkeeping expertise and cultivate a pipeline of new talent for entry-level roles within TurboTax and QuickBooks Live by equipping external audiences with foundational knowledge.
Responsibilities:
• Design impactful learning: Define clear learning objectives and craft engaging course content focused on specific federal income tax and bookkeeping topics.
• Empower career growth: Develop practical career preparation resources, including articles on resume writing, interviewing strategies tailored for tax professionals, and other essential career coaching materials.
• Champion quality: Collaborate closely with the Client Academy team by providing insightful reviews of all Client Academy courses developed by the content team, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement: Conduct thorough analyses of existing tax and bookkeeping learning materials, comparing them against our current Academy offerings to identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Amplify learner voice: Collect and analyze content-specific feedback from learners, providing actionable insights to the Client Academy team to refine and optimize course content.
• Become a learning catalyst: Serve as the go-to "tax teacher", actively supporting learners in mastering the material through engaging virtual office hours and informative webinars.
