Job Description
Required Education:
• Associate’s degree or higher

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
• Professional experience within a government environment, particularly supporting senior officials, programs, or agency initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex administrative and program responsibilities involving multiple stakeholders
• Strong understanding of government administration, processes, and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a changing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint/Microsoft Teams

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
• Familiarity with JIRA

Government Program Coordinator – Grant & Project Administration Job Responsibilities:
• Assist with complex tasks involved in the implementation and administration of the PHIG (Public Health Infrastructure Grant) grant, a unique, cross-cutting funding opportunity that supports all divisions and programs
• Organize and maintain official electronic files in MS Teams/SharePoint to ensure information is easy to find and cataloged for reference in the future
• Assist with the purchasing and procurement of goods and services that support the goals of the PHIG grant
• Study and analyze operational procedures and prepare detailed and comprehensive reports of findings and recommendations
• Assist with coordination and communication with other states’ PHIG teams
• Coordinate the flow of work across PHIG strategy areas and various programs within the agency
• Track projects through execution and completion – elevate issues that need follow-up
• Attend conferences and meetings on behalf of the executive leadership team and take notes
• Perform other duties as assigned
