Required Education
• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• 2+ years of experience in digital media, streaming, programming, merchandising, editorial, or related fields
• Strong interest in TV, film, streaming, and pop culture
• Detail oriented with a collaborative mindset
• Organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
• A general understanding of databases
• Knowledge of and interest in the entertainment media landscape
• The ability to pick up proprietary program scheduling software
• Comfort working with data and understanding how data plays into programming strategy
• Comfortable learning CMS platforms and new tools
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge and familiarity with Classic TV, and Western content
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• Strong background in classic content TV
• Movies knowledge
• Experience with CMS platforms
• Experience with Airtable and Tableau
• General pop culture knowledge
Overview:
Maintaining programming schedules across linear classics and western channels, some single series and multiple series channels, timing out programming stunts, monitoring weekly viewership behavior and reporting on data changes week over week. Should have a strong background in classic content TV in particular but movies is helpful, as well as general pop culture knowledge. They will be trained on proprietary tools. Airtable and Tableau will be used daily, and scheduling KPI monitoring will be part of their daily tasks. Experience with CMS platforms.
Job Duties
• Building episodes in the proprietary Content Management System (CMS)
• Understanding programming workflows and completing tasks within the CMS, content catalog review process, and life-cycle of content
• Support channel programming, AVOD merchandising, and promotional updates across platform
• Scheduling pre-programmed live stream and episodic channels
• Tracking and data entry used for programming decisions
• Use performance data, research, and content trends to support scheduling decisions and programming initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Content Ops, and Partnerships teams
• Support reporting, workflow improvements, and special projects as needed
