Job Description
Required Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Skills and Experiences:
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and PC navigation
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
• Ability to stand 95% of the shift and lift between 20 to 50 pounds
• Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays
Preferred Skills and Experiences:
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment and understanding of production concepts
• A team player who works well with others but can also work independently
Overview / Summary:
• Work on a variety of routine tasks under close supervision in a secure facility with access to confidential information
Primary Responsibilities:
• Receive shipments and sort them according to packing slips
• Follow procedures for counting and verifying items
• Enter items into a computerized tracking system
• Pull correct inventory to meet internal orders and process outbound supply orders in a timely manner
• Perform data entry to update the system
• Operate and monitor equipment to process work according to instructions and/or client expectations
• Set up and calibrate equipment per guidelines and/or job specifications
• Perform quality checks
• Assist in the training of other employees
• Participate in team cross-training
• Maintain a clean work area
• Understand, interpret, and abide by OSHA regulations
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
• Ability to stand 95% of the shift
• Ability to lift between 20 to 50 pounds
