Required Education:

•High school diploma or equivalent



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:



• Basic computer skills, including data entry and PC navigation

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language

• Ability to stand for approximately 95% of the shift

• Ability to lift between 20 and 50 pounds

• Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays



Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:



• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment

• Understanding of production concepts

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to learn and operate different types of production equipment



Production Machine Operator Overview:



• Trained to set up and operate various printing, inserting, labeling, and sorting machines

• Adjust machines to ensure accuracy and respond appropriately to equipment error messages

• Perform quality checks and confirm quantities produced

• Verify batches against order tickets and properly set up equipment

• Work in a high-volume production environment while maintaining productivity, quality, safety, and security standards



Job Duties:



• Operate machines that print, insert, label, and sort materials such as statements, health insurance cards, and loyalty cards

• Manually insert documents and forms into envelopes

• Affix tags to plastic carriers and stuff mail into expedited mailing packages

• Operate presorting machines to sort and separate damaged mail

• Request reprints when damaged or incorrect mail is identified

• Place sorted mail into bins for delivery to the post office

• Perform quality checks and verify production quantities against order tickets

• Adjust machines and troubleshoot basic equipment error messages

• Work collaboratively with associates to support productivity, safety, security, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Participate in cross-training and learn to operate different machines and equipment

• Maintain a safe and productive work environment while meeting production requirements



Physical Requirements & Work Environment:



• Ability to stand for approximately 95% of the shift

• Ability to lift between 20 and 50 pounds

• Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays

• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
