Job Description
Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Basic computer skills, including data entry and PC navigation.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Ability to stand for approximately 95% of the work shift.

• Ability to lift between 20 and 50 pounds.

• Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

• Understanding of basic production concepts.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.



Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

• Experience working with production equipment, machinery, or automated sorting systems.

• Experience performing quality checks and verifying production quantities.

• Experience working in a team environment focused on productivity, safety, security, quality, and continuous improvement.



Production Associate Overview:

• The Production Associate will be trained to set up and operate various printing, sorting, and production machines.

• The role involves adjusting equipment to ensure production accuracy, responding to equipment error messages, performing quality checks, verifying quantities, and ensuring completed batches match order requirements.

• The Production Associate will work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment and support productivity, quality, safety, security, and continuous improvement initiatives.



Job Duties:

• Operate machines that print materials such as statements, health insurance cards, and loyalty cards.

• Set up and adjust printing and sorting equipment to ensure accurate production.

• Respond to equipment error messages and take appropriate action to maintain production flow.

• Perform quality checks and verify that quantities produced are accurate.

• Confirm batches are completed accurately according to the order ticket.

• Manually insert documents and forms into envelopes.

• Affix tags to plastic carriers and stuff mail into expedited mailing packages.

• Operate presorting machines to sort and separate damaged mail.

• Request reprints when damaged or incorrect mail is identified.

• Place sorted mail into bins for delivery to the post office.

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity, safety, security, quality, and continuous improvement goals.

• Participate in cross-training to learn and operate different machines and equipment.
