Job Description
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with B2B SaaS, enterprise platforms, or infrastructure products
• Prior experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, or technical analyst is highly preferred
• Background in AI/ML, DevOps, cybersecurity, or data engineering
• Experience leading cross-functional platform teams
• Experience with executive-level reporting is a plus
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, PCI/PII, SOC2, GDPR)

Required Skills:
• 5+ years in product management building and delivering quality reservation management and/or ecommerce products, services, and capabilities, or combination of 3 years of technical product management experience with additional 3 years of relevant engineering, data science, or analytic science experience, required
• Technical Background: Strong understanding of software development, cloud platforms (AWS), containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher), APIs (SOAP, REST, JSON, Node.JS), microservices, and relational (Oracle, MariaDB) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) data architectures
• Agile & SAFe Expertise: Hands-on experience leading Agile teams, working in Scrum/Kanban, and familiarity with SAFe methodologies
• Analytical & Data-Driven Mindset: Strong ability to use data (KPIs, analytics, monitoring and alerting) to drive decision-making
• Excellent Communication: Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Tools & Platforms: Experience with JIRA, SQL, API documentation tools (Postman, Swagger), cloud services, and analytics tools

Job Description:
• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for technical/SaaS products and platforms to include integration of business capabilities, technical currency, UX currency, security, and compliance
• Develop strategies and features to enhance user satisfaction, engagement, drive revenue, and retention across the product lifecycle
• Prioritize features and technical enhancements based on business goals, customer needs, and technical feasibility
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure currency with infrastructure, database, OS, authentication, and supporting tool life cycles and versioning
• Ensure long-term scalability, performance, and security of technical solutions
• The DSE/DCL Product Manager manages to the product strategy and roadmaps for products, horizontal and vertical, that provide services and capabilities for multiple channels, and users/clients that provide value through operational efficiency, increasing revenue, and cost reduction
• These products involve large & complex integrations for SOR (system of record) data ranging from referential data at the definition level (e.g., product, pricing, accounting, itinerary, Guest/Cast/Crew) and/or transactional data (reservation, booking, payment, accounting record, registration) that will be utilized across channels and capabilities
• These products involve complex rules for usability, compliance, security, and data implementations and acceptance criteria (e.g. device responsiveness, browser adaptability, search engine optimization/SERPs/backlinks/data-markups, UX/consumer legal by locale and currency, accessibility/WCAG2.1 AA & AAA, web/hybrid/native/other, error handling & logging, performance SLA, analytics/adobe/user data & surveying, licensing configurations by locale, media tagging, media aspects, content attributes, PCI/PII/Privacy by locale, and variations by Guest/Cast/Crew/Travel Agency)
• The DSE/DCL Product Manager collaborates with architecture, engineering, stakeholders, and other DSE/DCL Product Managers to prioritize and create the Business Segment product roadmap, that includes the sequencing and dependency mapping of technical and informs the resource plan for Design, Tech, Digital, and Stakeholder teams, required to for their system, maintain, enhance, uplift, expand, or retire integrated business capability, applications, and experiences

Responsibilities:
Requirements Definition & Execution
• Map user journeys for different user personas (internal and external users), detailing specific pain points, motivations, and preferred channels to get a comprehensive understanding of their experiences and successful adoption of capabilities
• Collect, analyze, and act on various feedback (errors, analytic data, sales data, customer feedback, user feedback, operations) to improve product and user experience
• Track usage, patterns, and frictions points to identify needs for optimization
• Work closely with engineering teams to define, document, and refine technical requirements, including APIs, system integrations, data pipelines, including performance, caching, and configuration schemas, for SORs and shared platforms including, TWDC Profile, GSS, CE/DPP, DScribe/AEM/S3/Vision/Content Store/Voyage Planner, Email and Comms permission and pipelining
• Create detailed user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria for development teams
• Own the backlog, ensuring well-defined priorities and trade-offs

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary liaison between engineering, leadership, and other product managers across multiple verticals and disciplines
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Partner with enterprise architects and platform teams to ensure alignment with broader technology initiatives

Execution & Delivery
• Own key product KPIs, ensuring continuous monitoring and optimization
• Drive Agile ceremonies, including, backlog refinement and prioritization, product increment planning, and retrospectives, and play an instrumental role in sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint demos, and other ad-hoc meetings
• Ensure timely and high-quality product releases, balancing speed, quality, and business impact
• Facilitate post-launch analysis and iterate based on data-driven insights
• Develop resources and training materials for operations and ops integration teams to support high-quality internal and external customer service

Technical Leadership & Innovation
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, competitor analysis, user expectations, and best practices
• Utilize collaboration tools to bridge gaps between departments
• Leveraging platforms like Teams/Slack, JIRA, Confluence, Figma or other to facilitate the seamless flow of information across teams, ensuring everyone remains on the same page regarding customer needs and product updates
• Identify opportunities for automation, system efficiency, and improved developer experience – to include adoption of automation throughout the CICD and test delivery pipelines
• Create the business case for technical investments that drive long-term business value
• May provide oversight to contractors or junior resources executing the tactical delivery of the technical product roadmap across studios and working teams

Key Deliverables & Success Metrics:
• Product Roadmap Vision & Execution: Deliver and continuously iterate on a prioritized, timebound product roadmap for the system, blending the business capability requirements with technical currency and advancement
• Advance the API Economy: Reduce duplication of redundant services by negotiating API specs across multiple channels and stakeholders
• Near term, drive adoption and migration from legacy APIs and data feed jobs to modernized APIs
• Product Documentation: Leveraging architecture and documentation tools like BlueDolphin, Swagger, Apigee, fully document the supported and available functionalities of the system
• Technical Requirements & Backlog: Well-defined and groomed backlog that aligns with business and engineering goals
• Stakeholder Satisfaction: High alignment between business, experience product, and technical teams, with strong feedback loops
• Adoption & Performance Metrics: Measures KPIs of the system to include performance, resiliency, reliability, MTTR, speed to market
• Leverages data to set targets and improve KPIs.
