Job Description
Required Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent

Required Skills:
• Ability to inspect, label, and package raw and finished products
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Ability to maintain records in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks during a 12-hour shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in a production, packaging, or regulated manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with cleanroom or controlled environment protocols
• Experience maintaining production or quality inspection records
• Prior food, nutrition, or healthcare manufacturing experience

Position Overview:
The company is seeking a Production Worker I to support its nutrition manufacturing operation in Altavista, VA, one of the largest nutrition plants and the home of trusted brands like Pedialyte. Working under moderate supervision, the Production Worker I will play a key role in ensuring that finished products meet quality and safety standards by inspecting, labeling, and packaging raw and finished goods. This is a 23-week, 12-hour day shift opportunity with overtime potential for hours worked over 40 per week.

Position Responsibilities:
• Inspect, label, and package raw and finished nutritional products
• Maintain accurate production and quality records in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Perform work in a clean, organized production environment, which may include cleanroom conditions
• Follow standardized procedures under moderate supervision
• Support production line efficiency and quality standards throughout each shift
